Talking So excited

I have lost 6lbs this week! The best part is I'm eating great tasting food, enjoying food like vegetables that I haven't liked in the past. I eat until I'm completely full and I'm dropping the weight like crazy! What a trip this has been, I've NEVER been in control of my eating, I've NEVER been able to make such wise food choices, the closest was when I was on an appetite suppressant and that didn't last.

This WOE is a complete revelation to me it is effortless and exciting!

I actually started on January 18th but that first week I didn't know what I was doing, I hadn't read a book and just cut out all carbs then I talked to a girl at work...(here's her website, http://www.geocities.com/missironylc/index.html, amazing!) and she suggested that I go to www.atkins.com and read about induction. I started induction along with my mom (Lindym) and my dad we are all doing so wonderful, it's good to have family members doing this at the same time, now if only I could get DH to get through the first day without sugar in his coffee. Anyway, since January 18 I've lost 21lbs and I'm over 10% to my goal of losing half of myself.

Congrats to both you and your friend! Isn't this way of eating amazing? I am so happy for you. I always felt like a failure before, too, but this way is so much easier than anything else.

Congratulations on the weight lost and also on the success at converting to this WOE.

It's funny when you tell people that it's really no effort, they don't believe you because most of them have been on low-fat diets before and remember how much they struggled with hunger and cravings.

Keep it up!
