Angry The Ofiice is Full of Valentine Candy!

I personally did not get to be weight I am (or even my higher weight before my 49 pounds loss) by eating candy all the time. I guess I am weird, but I am not a chocolate person. I was always a potato chips, pretzels, sandwiches and other junk food craver before ATKINS.

And, today the office is loaded with candy for Valentines ~ and it doesn't bother me a bit!! EVEN if this was a potato chip holiday, I wouldn't be tempted either.

Thank you Dr. Atkins.
You will always be My Valentine!

WTG! Junk food at work - the peer pressure factor - was (is) my worst temptation. Keep up the good work.

Junk food at the office doesn't bother me either. It is usually in the kitchen area and it is there for me if I chose to have it but I don't. We have a guy who is 19 and he usually eats it all up of course he is skin and bones.

One of my clients came up and offered me some homemade fudge this morning. Since he didn't make the trip in just for me I didn't feel so bad about turning him down. I simply said "no thanks, I don't eat sugar". He looked at me real goofy. If facial expressions could be translated to word, he had "who doesn't eat sugar?" written all over his face. No need to go into the whole I'm on Atkins bit only to wind up having to defend myself. I love throwing people off with such an obscure thought that there are actually people that can turn down yummy, delicious, decadent fudge (ok, I'm done reminiscing, MMMMM)

I like throwing them off by saying: No, thank you, I am just getting ready to eat some cheddar cheese!
