Default Eliminating a food

If you add a new food to your daily intake, how long do you wait to banish it if the scale doesn't move? For instance I added 1 oz of almonds this week, and haven't lost anything but I was in the middle of TOM, and it's also my third week into the plan, and from my understanding the third week can be a dud???
Do I get rid of the almonds already or wait it out because of the other factors? I don't have a whole lot to lose, mainly body fat is why I chose this WOL and also because diabetes runs in my family and I was starting to feel really crappy. I haven't really gone out of induction yet, I added the nuts, but am still at 20g carbs. What do you think?

I would wait it out.. I gain up to 8 lbs during TOM and my 3rd week was LOOOOOOONG and no weight loss. I think with your current weight and how close you are to goal that you should defn. leave them in there another week or maybe two to see if you are actually having a problem with that food or its just other circumstances.

From my personal experience, 1 week. But I found that many foods I THOUGHT were the problem weren't...it was quantity and not necessarily a food. ALthough I did notice that when I was eating "bars" they would cease my weight loss completely...probably due to the glycerine. Nuts, which I love and eat, have to be eaten in moderation by me...1 oz per day max. Same with peanut butter...2 tbls max. You get to know your body and know how much of a food item you can eat "safely". Good luck.
