Default Sugar Free Cold and Flu Meds....

Looking for some advise....it is inevitable that I will get the nasty cold/flu thingy that is making it's way through my office right now....I cannot suffer through it without taking something....any sickies out there who have found sugar free alternatives? I want to be prepared when it finally hits.

There are some, if you look.

Found store brand at the Super Store

Buckley's (if you can stand the taste - or you might want to head for the caplets).

Some lozenges are even sugar free, now (even one Fisherman's Friend).

Fisherman's friends has 3 or 4 sucrose free flavours. And depending on your health history you can usually get benylin or robutussin (not sure of the spelling) in a sugar free formula as well. If you have Hypertension or any other condition talk to a pharmacist as certain ingredients can be hazardous. I used to swear by Nyquil but alas my pharacist won't let me buy it anymore due to the increased risks and possible side effects. <g>
