Thumbs up LeCarb "Ice Cream"

Hi, everyone. I just discovered LeCarb's "frozen dessert" which, to me, tastes exactly like ice cream. It comes in pints only, and can be found in the ice cream section of the grocery store (I got mine at Price Chopper in Missouri). There are several flavors, including cinnamon, lemon, strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla. I have only tried the cinnamon so far, but it is so so so good! The carb count on the cinnamon flavor, once you subtract glycerine, is only 12 net carbs for the whole pint! You can't beat that! Yummy! For a real treat, I eat it with a few Murray's sugar free fudge dipped wafer cookies (also at Price Chopper at 2.25 net carbs per cookie) and a dollop or two of the new french vanilla flavored Cool Whip (which is fantastic, by the way, and has 2 carbs per 2 tablespoons). LeCarb has a website (www.lecarb.net), for those who would like to check it out.

Try the Strawberry. It is WONDERFUL. Whenever I eat LeCarb I really have a hard time believing I'm not cheating!

It's OK, too expensive if you ask me. Now that I can get Bryers low carb, I don't buy the Lecarb anymore.

The LC store near my mom (Folsom, Ca) has Le Carb in pints and in single serving containers. I tried the Chocolate Almond. YUM! To much glycerine for me, though. I have a hard time losing when I eat it. I'm saving it for maintenance.
