Talking woo hoo!!

Oh yeah, oh yeah, I lost four pounds. It took some tough discipline but I did it!! Water and excersize work wonders-overnight!!! Today i only ate a salad and some cheese and 1/2 bacon cheeseburger. Not too hungry-should I be taking in more food??? Just wondering.
-a lighter, Heidi

Hi Heidi,

Sounds like your off and running. Congrats. You shouldn't be hungry at all. If your doing Induction you have a 20g carb per day limit. You can spread those carbs out anyway you like. Feel free to eat plenty of meat but don't over do it. You should feel satisfied and not hungry.

To me Atkins is the hunger-free diet.

Good luck,

Jim

Hi Heidi. Generally, you need to be eating more than that, especially if you're exercising. The three cups of veggies are non-negotiable, and you should be aiming for more protein and fat than that. Check out www.fitday.com and maybe enter a few day's worth of menus. That'll give you an idea of what you're getting.

Good luck!
