Default Don't Quit Before The Woosh!

I am in week 17 of the Atkins Diet. I am now at 202 and have lost 37 lbs so far, over half way there to my goal of losing 69 lbs to get to 170
Here is the thing... I went almost two weeks without losing any weight, although I was still in ketosis and sticking to the diet. I was getting really frustrated, not seeming to be able to get off 205. Then all of a sudden, yesterday I hit 204 and then this morning I was at 202. 3 lbs. in two days! I am glad I didn't get so frustrated that I waivered from the diet. So, for those of you that think you are stuck, hang in there. Don't give up... the WOOSH FAIRY will be visiting you soon !

MadMike - CONGRATULATIONS on you persistance! You worked hard to earn your whoosh and I appreciate your encouragement! We are in this for the long haul and even thought we realize that, it's still hard to not get impatient if we aren't seeing the numbers moving like we expect. Now I have another example in my arsonal if I find myself getting impatient! Thanks for sharing and congratulations...

Congrats!

I've never had a whoosh...I guess it hasn't been long enough. I'm in my second week and kind of discouraged because my weight keeps going up and down...at the moment it looks like I've only lost one pound, when last week I was down almost four. I don't get it.

Congratulations Madmike, that is a great feeling to lose after frustration. I had four months that I did not lose weight or inches; then, I started losing again.

TerryLynne, that's like a murder in your family. Your family has lost a whole person.

Awesome Mike! Keep on whooshing!

I always try to tell myself when my weight is holding that I am just 1 day way from a whoosh.

Congratulations! I go through weeks without losing too, it's never consistent. Then the whoosh fairy comes and takes some away. Good work.
