How do I make a pretty signature like everyone else?

I try to paste a pretty signature I've created using wordart into my signature box and all I get is nothing. Won't let me do it. How does everyone get fairies, animals, and stuff as well as graphics (fancy letters in the words of their names) into their signatures???

The graphics are generally hosted somewhere on the web. You get the different text colors by selecting them in the Signature area. You can also use the smilies from this forum.
