Default Rudi's Organic Bakery Bread review

Found a new low-carb bread from Rudi's Organic Bakery today. (www.rudisbakery.com).

First the good news:
It tastes like bread. (As opposed to Atkins bread which doesn't quite hit the mark).

It's the same size as a regular piece of bread. Although it is thinner than regular bread slices.

It toasts up just fine and tastes like toast.

You can cut it with a regular serving knife. No need for "ginsu" with a razors edge.

I buttered a piece of bread (without toasting it) and tried some Keto Fruit Spread (blackberry and apple). Tasted like bread, butter and jelly. Yum!

I then mixed some splenda with cinnamon and put that on the buttered, untoasted bread. Tasted like cinnamon bread! YUM!

Cost was $4.49 for a 1 lb loaf.

The bad news:
Haven't got any bad news so far!

Here's the "stats":
-----------------
Serving size: 1 slice
Calories: 45
Cals from fat: 5
Total fat 1g
Sat 0g
Polyun 0g
Monoun 0g
Cholesterol 0mg
Sodium 110mg
Carbs 6g
Fiber 2g
Sugars 1g
Protein 5g

Well worth trying out.

Enjoy,
Dan

I found some at Whole Foods last week and used if for my turkey stuffing. I tasted it plain-- not bad! In the stuffing you could kinda sorta tell the bread was a tad "different" but not much. With a little gravy and cranberry sauce (both LC of course) it was fantastic!

Thumbs up from me . . . .
