Default flax meal question!

Hey everyone! Tonight I ground up flax seeds and instead of using hot water I heated up some chocolate Soy Slender..It was sooo good with a lil butter, but is it okay to use all the soy milk and no water? Or am I destroying some kind of amino somethin or other?

Heating it would be what would destroy anything, not the soy. I wouldn't sweat it though. It's still a healthy treat and I don't think cooking flax hurts the Omegas to badly.

Don't stress food so much. Learn to relax and enjoy eating

as long as you keep it under 180 degrees, it should be fine.

Default Where do you find Soy Slender?

Hi,

I've recently added flax seed to my Atkins diet. Grind it up myself and mix it with hot beef boullion. Just like a beefy soup. Yum.

But, this chocolate Soy Slender sounds good too! What and where is chocolate Soy slender? What kind of store do you find it in? what section of a grocery store should I look in?

I can find it at my Super Walmart here. Wher eI used to live the local Albertson's had it.

Soy Slender is a soy milk that is splenda sweetened and has no addatives such as rice or flours. The taste is very close to regular milk, and without the starchy additives it doesn't have the off taste associated with many soy milks. It has 1 net carb (ECC) per 8oz cup and comes in Vanilla, Chocolate, and Cappachino.

I concur: cooking flax cannot hurt something it doesn't contain!
