I went to the bookstore/coffee shop last night. So the lady at the coffee counter offers to check me out since the other cashiers seem to be off somewhere. I looked at my friend and said "I'm getting an italian soda you want something". The lady heard me say this for sure. I ask her "do you have italian sodas" She says "yes sometimes if we have the stuff in i'm not sure if there is some in the back or not" So at this point I'm thinking she is going check, she doesn't she just rings up my books. I was such in shock that I just didn't say anything. Isn't that rude?

Yes that is extremely rude...I would complain to the manager!!!

You're right I think I may call, although it seems that everyone there is 18-24 and best friends. The manager may not care, but thanks for the idea. I will be calling them. I'm going to another coffee house next week I want to try an italian soda once and for all. I just like the way it sounds so sophisticated hehe.
