I have tried to get my pic under my name but keep getting error msg, like 'file is not a jpg,.... ' my picture show on the avatar settings screen but not with any of my post??? Can anyone help?

Hi. The picture has to be in .jpg, .gif or similar format. You'll have to figure out how to convert it, perhaps using whatever image editor you have. I assumed you either scanned it or it was from a digital camera...
