Talking I'm in Saskatoon!!!

Hi Ruthie!
I'm in Saskatoon!
I haven't found any ready baked bread, but I was just at GNC in Market Mall the other day, and they have mixes. They are quite pricey, but I bought a rye mix to try.
Nice to find someone else here!!! Maybe we can have a get together, like all those luck folks in Vancouver do!!! Now if only we had a low carb chef like Karen here......do you suppose the two of us could entice her out for a special appearance?! Probably not this time of year!!!!
Good to find you!!
Carolyn

Ruthie
Have you been to Mom's on 22nd? They have a good selection of basic stuff( like bulk gluten flour, and flax seeds). And also a bit of Atkins stuff.
I'm so happy. I know that there must be others, but I have felt rather alone in my travels. I'm glad to know you are here!!

Hi Red, Yes I have been to Moms, They have a good selection of LC. Safeway also has some Atkins mixes. GNC in all the malls also have quite a bit of product. It seems to be catching on around here. I am waiting for Jones Diet soda to appear. It is sweetened with Splenda.

I have been looking for that for a while!! There is also a soda that Costco carries some places, and although I keep putting in requests, it has never appeared here. It is called Ice Botanicals, so if you go to costco, put in a request for it!!
We'll take the city by storm!!!
I was talking to Brenda from Diabetic Depot in Calgary, and it sounds like we might have one of those here in 2004. Here's hopin'!!
