Carb/Fat/Pro/Cal ratio for Modified Fat Fast?
I read in DANDR about both the FF and MFF and he explained that 75%-90% of the calories should come from fat (I'm assuming 90% would be optimal). If I decide to do a MFF at 1200 calories and keep the fat at 90% (which is 120 grams), how many grams of protein and carbs should I be getting? Should it be almost no carbs and make up the rest of the calories from protein or would it be better to have equal portions?
From my calculations, I could have equal portions of both to reach the 1200 total. That would mean 15g of each, protein and carbs. And since 1 gram of each has 4 calories, my calories would total 60 for each. Is this right? I know I sound redundant. But would it work better if I tried to reduce the carbs more?
Dr A. really doesn't address this in my edition. He does explain about the fat percentage, and even posts some sample items, but it's seems as though it's up to you to figure out how you will work out the rest. Any info on this would be appreciated. Thanks!
