Yes, you can use almond flour instead of wheat flour to a certain extent, although not necessarily the same recipes. I have used almond flour to make pancakes, pound cake, cookies, muffins (combined with oat flour), piecrust, and even marzipan, all of which turn out very well. I use other nut flours for most of those, except the marzipan, of course.
But you can't make bread, for instance, with almond flour because it has no gluten and won't react to yeast as wheat flour does.
Check the recipe section; there are lots of recipes using almond flour.
