Default It's been over for a while...

Hello,

My Atkins low carb diet has been over for about one to one and a half months. I've eaten bread on a few occasions. Some days I stick under 80g and some days I go over 125g. Since then I havent gained or lost a pound. I also started going to the gym. Does this mean I am free again. I dont mean eating candy and bread every 2 minutes but a few times per week?

You're free to do whatever you want, Bob. Free to stick to low-carb, modify low-carb, or go off low-carb. It's your life, and the only one who will reap the consequences of your decisions is yourself.

Every body is different. If you can eat candy and bread a few times a week without gaining weight, you're one of the lucky ones. You'll have to experiment and see what happens.

I have to ask, though, why candy and bread? Wouldn't you be better off eating healthier carbs, like beans, brown rice, etc.? Why get back into unhealthy eating habits now that you know you can do better? Just my opinion.

The candy and bread was an example because both are not accepted I didnt mean non stop candy and bread

Well, I just weighed myself today and now I am 148! This is really weird. I started eating more carbs and I lost about 6lbs. I have no idea whats going on...

Since the diet was over the first few weeks I ate below 60-80g and I've been stable at 155lbs. The last couple of weeks I've been eating some bread, fruits, etc and I've lost 6lbs since I started eating bread, etc.

You started working out, right? Maybe you've been burning calories. Of course then you're also adding muscle so .... hell if I know! Sounds good to me though!
