ATKINS NEWBIES unite!
OK everyone I"m all set. I went out this evening and did my grocery shopping. Got some fresh meats, eggs, mayo, cream, lettuce, zucchini, olive oil, butter, salmon, lean ground beef, and no sugar , full fat dressing. Tomorrow will be day one induction for me as I try atkins out again.
I dread the headaches and nausea I will feel for the next few days, but it will be worth it!! Last time I did atkins was in MArch 2003 , and I felt like crap for the first week! Pray it won't be that long again. BUt Its all part of detoxing from those dreaded carbs, nasty carbs, horrible downright disgusting carbs. Phew ..I spit on carbs ..... lol
i really hope this time I can lose these 15 nagging pounds, and overcome the carb addiction. I know its it will be a lifestyle , and a process to get used to. PLEASE pray for me !! i need all the support i can get. Lately i really think my praying has helped me get back on track. God does work in many wonderous ways... it takes a diet to find out, somehow thats a bit shameful..but we're all human and we learn each day from all our experiences.
To all the newbies: stand tall, head high, confidence strong and together we'll get there!! we jsut gotta believe in oursleves, and stand strong together. night all
