Default lost 2 stones today!

Feeling great, lost 2 stones now. Although I've still a long way to go, at least another 5 stones, but now feel I will get there in the end!

Thanks Mary, yes I feel so much better. I've been exercising 4-6 times a week too.
Funny how I feel sort of thin now - until I look in the mirror!!!

Congratations, muddy, that's very impressive. Good luck with the next pile of stones that are going to be dropping away over the next weeks and months

Hi Muddy

Many congratulations on that 2 stone loss.

You have done really well as I believe you started just under 2 months ago. May your rate of weight loss continue, although I suspect it may be just a little slower from now on in.

I remember how great I felt as each stone disappeared. I have now lost 4 stone and aim to say good by to the 5th one before the end of the year.

When ever people say to me do you feel better for all this weight loss I am never sure what to say as because it happens gradually you don't notice a lot of the changes. Understand that mirrors can be cruel. I found that my body shape did not change significantly, in photos anyway, until I got to around 50 pound gone. Feel proud of yourself girl and keep the faith for the journey ahead.

Thanks everyone. Only a couple of people have noticed so far but then I do have a lot to lose!
Clothes are definately looser, I have bought a new swimsuit but trying to hold off buying too many clothes as I don't want to be in them very long.
I've noticed my weight loss seems to go in fits and starts. I seem to not lose for ten days in the middle of my cycle then start to lose again in the week before my TOM. Weird huh?

For breakfast fried egg or bacon with mushrooms. Occasionally Rachel's Greek full fat yoghurt with splenda and berries added.
For lunch salad plus meat or fish with mayonnaise or other full fat dressing.
For dinner roasted meat with low carb veg such as oven baked sliced courgette/mushrooms, broccoli, french beans, cauliflower cheese made with double cream and grated cheese on top.
For snacks pistachio nuts/cashew nuts (just a few), cheese, chicken drumsticks and occasional treats of Cavalier SF chocolate.
I have used fitday to monitor carbs but got bored of filling it in everyday so don't do it regularly now.
To drink mostly water, one or two cups of tea per day (I cheat and have milk in this!) plus a cup of decaf with cream after dinner.

Not far from you rebsee I'm in Abbots Langley.

Not all the above foods I had on induction as berries are forbidden, as are yoghurt and nuts. I cheated during induction and still had tea with milk but cut back to only a couple of cups a day. I'm afraid induction can be a little boring but remember it is only 2 weeks then you can add in some lowish carb extras!

CONGRATS and bloody well done!!
Even though youve got another 5 to go isn't that better than 7 stone to go!!
Your doing great and before you know it you will only have 4 stone to go.
Ive got 3 stone to go, but I take it half a stone at a time, it makes my mini targets that little bit easier to reach!!
Well done again though!! and keep up the good work
Happy Loosing and GOOD LUCK!!

CONGRATULATIONS MUDDY

Your doing so well, i bet you feel wonderfull!

Even though i have lost only a little compared to you, i do understand what your saying when you say you 'feel thin'. As i feel the same way, i'm still unable to fit into a size 12 but i feel a size 10...lol
This is probably due to the fact i haven't been this weight for over 11 years and because i lost the weight so quickly. I haven't weighed myself in a while so i do not know if my current weight is correct but i feel slimmer and i'm extremely happy with that

Any chance you could let me know exactly how you make your cauliflower cheese? Used to love this as a child even though i'm a great veg hater. I tried just melting some cheese on top but it wasn't the same without the sauce.

Good luck
