Default carb chaos!

hello everyboby!
hope u r all well!
well i blew it....after 4 months of doing atkins and never falling off the wagon (aside from the odd 'cheat' here and there!) i went and did just that this past weekend. My husband and i went camping on friday for 3 days with some friends (it was our 1st wedding anniversary celebration) and i fell big time...although i was resigned to the fact before we set off that i would have a few little 'cheats' i didnt intend to indulge in the carbs as much as i did...bread, focaccia, sweets, chocolates, cakes, sweet alcoholic drinks, beer, snacks, pringles, mc d's fries...THE LOT! - and to add 'insult' to injury my husband took me to a beautiful restaurant last night and we had 3 courses, a bottle of champagne and a bottle of red wine! (wonderful) - oh dear - "oh well" i thought, back on tommorrow!...however...today i had crackers, butter, cheese and caponata (an italian sweet and sour aubergine stew-delish) for brekkie and for lunch the same again but on a ciabatta bread roll AND half a brownie! - felt so sick and bloated (my stomach looks sooo distended) that i wanted to make myself vomit...luckily common sense prevailed and i resisted the urge.
i love this WOE and have been doing really well and realistically i know that even if you succumb to the odd temptation from time to time you just have to pick urself up and get back on the wagon, after all it's not the end of the world!.... i had an ace weekend and wouldnt have swapped it for anything however unfortunately in the cold light of day i can't help thinking that this past 4 WHOLE DAYS of eating badly (not just a mouthful of cake or a few tortilla chips that may not even register on the scales and will burn off in no time) has set me back big style so i'd just like to know -
a) will a lot of the weight be water?
b) how long will it take me to lose it again?
c) how long will it take for all these carbs to leave my body?
d) have i blown it?
i feel sooo disappointed in myself as i have done so well so far surviving a holiday abroad, other camping trips, evenings and dinners out....!
thank u in advance..any comments would be greatly apprecciated!
ax

Yes, most of the weight will be water. Go back to induction levels and in 3 days you will be in ketosis again.

Hi Adrix!

It will be okay don't worry!

I also had a cheat last weekend cheating for three days once a day during a meal. Gained SIX pounds. It was very depressing.

But one way, don't let all your hard work for 4 months let you get off track!!! You can do it! I started to feel the carb monster come back and you need to fight this off!!

It took only one week, and today I finally busted those 6 lbs back down and am in fact .5 pound lighter than when I left.

Just make sure you drink lots of water (that helped me) and do the best you can to stay on track.

You worked so hard dont let it be for nothing you can do it!!!

Good luck!
