Default Pilates - I'd like to know what you think

I just started my 3rd week of Atkins and I have made a few changes in my life. I have a treadmill that I use each day for about 45 minutes or more if I can do it and I would like to get to the point when I can run for a good length of time. I was thinking of adding Pilates - mainly because I could use muscle toning and be a bit more limber. It seems to be a huge craze right now and I was wondering about other people who do it, what kinds of effects it has had on you and generally what you think of it.

I've heard many good things about it. Though the moves were way too hard for me. Give it a shot. I hear that a lot of people like it. I think it's a great way to make sure when you are done losing weight everything is tight.

I like the Windsor Pilates series - they do a really good job of showing "modifications" which are great for beginners - I find myself moving away from the modified version as I get stronger and more limber.

I have Denise Austin's tape. I love it! I could see a difference in tone after using it for one day. After doing that and a class at the gym, I'm much better now and it's easier -- also - my tummy is nearly flat now! YAY!!!!!

I believe in Pilates.
