Look at your over all calories and go by percentages. If you're having 200g of protien, that is probably a little high. During induction fat should be around 65-70% of calories. In owl the fat % slowly goes down as the carb % increases. Protien should be around 25%, not 50% though. Atkins is a high fat diet, not high protien.

Ladybelle;
cals 3575
fat=74%
protein=22%
multiplied grams by 9 cal for fat, 4 for protein and carbs.

My only thought is that 3575 cals might be a little high? Are you able to lose with that many calories eaten? The deal with Atkins, is that since you limit carbs, you have to obviously eat more fat and protein, at some point I think there is too much. Just me though.

Unless your a bodybuilder, marathon runner or athlete, 3500 calories is way too much. Remember that Atkins says to eat until you are satisfied. Then again, I guess everyones definition of "satisfaction" is a little different..........

Odds are you should be eating about half that much

I'm not a bodybuilder/athlete or marathon runner, but some days my calorie count gets into the 3500 + range. I find that even eating LC there are just some days when my body is asking for fuel. I cannot explain it. Somedays I could eat 24/7 and never get filled up and other days I have absoulutely no interest in food at all. I'm still losing 1-2 lbs per week
