Default Will I ever get to eat fruit again?

Fruit is my favorite thing...the thing I miss the most....bananas, apples, plums, berries.

Sure, once you're finished with Induction, you can reintroduce some fruits into your eating. Strawberries, bluberries, and melons.

In my view, once you progress closer to your goal weight, you can make an attempt to liberally add even more fruits. For me, I've added bananas, apples, oranges, and every kind of fruit back into my eating, and it hasn't stalled or caused me to gain any weight. I think, if you do regular cardio, adding fruits will not pose any issues.

Just ensure you don't go wild like eating a 12lb watermelon at one sitting, or something equally outlandish like that.

Good luck!

PS: I love fruits too, and in the beginning, abstaining from fruits was by far the most difficult aspect of doing low carb.

Being form the Caribbean, I can say that fruits are definitely a fave. of mine. BUT just remember that not all fruit are equal. Certain fruits cause greater fluctuations in your insulin levels, such as apples and bananas. Berries has less of that effect. So gradually introduced fruits in moderate amounts.

I try to eat high fiber fruit. A small apple on ocassion isn't too bad especially if you also eat the peel. I really enjoy the berries and melon that are allowed on OWL.
