Unhappy Help...no weight loss

I have been on Atkins 5 days now and have NOT cheated, and I have not lost any weight. I bought the ketostix and I am in ketosis according to the stick and the awful taste in my mouth all the time, but I still havent lost any weight!! I usually eat about 2 eggs and either sausage or bacon for breakfast, lunch- hamburger patty w/cheese or porkchop (no breading or sauce) and either steak or chicken for supper. I only drink water.. about 5 or 6 glasses a day. Thanks for the help.

There are a couple of things which spring to mind. Your water is not really enough. You need a minimum of 8 x 8oz glasses a day. Second point, where are the salad and veggies? You are allowed up to 20 carb grams of carbs on induction and most of these should be spent on salad and veg items..

I am working on getting in more water, I have a hard time drinking water, I am doing good though going from NO water to 6 glasses a day.
I usually have a salad with lunch or dinner, just not every day. I have been eating some broccoli and steamed cabbage. I am going to keep trying and see what happens. The only other thing different I am doing is taking meridia (for weight loss) and I take Toprol ( not for blood pressure, for stress induced heart palpatations), would any of these meds interfere with weight loss? thanks again....
