Default isomalt?

Today while i was trying to find something to ease my sore throat and was looking at sugar free lozanges, I came across one that had a sugar alcohol called Isomalt... first time ive come across it.. does anyone know how it affects insuline and blood sugar?

From what I understand, sugar alcohols are created equal, so if you have a problem with one, you will have a problem with the next.

However, I am not an expert...but in my readings, this is what I have come to understand.

Hey you...I hope you feel better...when I was sick I lived on sugar-free cough drops and still dropped lbs if that is what you are asking???
