Default I'm new here.

Hi all. I just finished reading the new Atkins book and I decided I wanted to start.

I have a pretty unique situation because I travel a lot for my job. Currently I am in West Virginia and my breakfast choices at the moment are pretty slim. The most convenient being McDonalds. Is there anything on the McDonalds breakfast menu that I can have, like the bagel sandwiches, sans the bagel of course? Thanks for the advice.

Weclome!

At mcdonalds, just tell them you want scrambled eggs and sausage - most are more than willing to help you out!

Thanks for the advice. It has been tough with my traveling. I have found the retaurants that I eat at are more than happy to help out though. Some even say, oh you want the Atkins special.

I got this yesterday when I asked for a cobb salad, no croutons or bread stick. Atkins is definately going around!

I don't know about you guys but I just can't wait for the day when you can walk into a resraurant and see a "low carb choices" on the menu rather than "low fat" . You can get low fat anything anywhere, but when can we have sugar-free deaf mochas and LC muffins at a coffee shop?
Just had to vent about that!
