Default South Beach Diet

Has anyone here read and tried the South Beach Diet? It seems to resembe TSP but he adds more dairy.

Default South Beach Diet

I read the South Beach Diet book and even tried the diet for a week. I lost 7 pounds in one week which was way too quickly so I changed to the Schwarzbein Diet. I don't like the second phase in the SBD. The first week you have to stay away from dairy but you can have regular cheese in limited amounts.

If you go onto www.prevention.com, they have a message Board strictly for the South Beach Diet and you can get more info and ask questions there.

all Sounds like to much jumping around to me,One of the ladies i work with told me abt it and i don't really understand how that would even work.I would think you would get alot of cravings.No thanks

Hey to all.

The one thing that appealed to me about South Beach is that it's meant for weight loss. TSP is great for maintenance and the two plans are quite similar in that respect. What I missed from TSP was any significant process for weight loss. The SBD diet author is a cardiologist who has many of the same values as Dr. S. so those of us who want to get the pounds off might be interested in considering this alternative.
