I'd advice you to buy Schwartzbeins first book because the second one goes into a lot of detail and may be confusing if you haven't read much about nutrition already.

You should buy Atkins " New Diet Revolution", 2003 edition.

I don't know about the other books.

I have the 2002 edition (of DANDR) already. Is there much difference between the two ???

Save yourself some money --- buy The Secret to Low Carb Success! by Laura Richards. It's a good book and does an extensive comparison of all the programs.

I agree, the Secret to Low Carb success is a good read.

You can also save money by getting those books from the library.

I would also recommend the Protein Power Lifespan Plan after you've read the original Protein Power.

I've also read CAD and Schwarzbein from the library and Sugar Busters! too.

But Atkins, PP, and PPLP are the best, followed by Schwarzbein in my opinion.

I agree with Beth.

Save your money for now and go to the library. When you find the plan you like the best, then go buy the book to have as reference. The library is may lifesaver!
