Default In Need of Motavation

Hey guys,
I was on the Atkins plan before Christmas 2002. I had list 26 pounds within 2 months. I was really doing well but Christmas came at a very bad time. Now I am trying to get back into the swing of things but I am finding it really hard.
Have anybody been in this situtation before and if so im in need af advice and a bit of motavation. Thanks everyone.

Just remember how happy you were when you lost before - you're obviously not happy now, since you're reaching out. Get a list of induction foods, clean your pantry, fridge and cupboards and go shopping. Re-read the book and stay close to this forum for motivation. You can do it, you know you can - think health!

I would read Dr. Atkin's New Diet Revolution book. It gives you the science and reasoning behind this way of eating. It makes me think of sugar and white flour as poison. I'd stick with this forum. The people have great ideas, recipes, and support for each other. Even if I don't lose another pound, I have the freedom to eat real food. On low fat diets, I was always eating tv dinners while my family ate the real food. On Weight Watchers, I would choose 3 low fat ice cream sandwiches (6 points) over a 6 point chicken breast. I was always eating junk. I've found low carbing an easy lifestyle. Good luck. Christa

Calculate how much weight you've gained since you stopped low carbing, then estimate how much you'll gain in the next six months if you don't start again. Kind of the "Scared Straight" approach. If that doesn't do it, estimate how much you'll gain in the next year.
