Default Achey joints and trigger finger

Lately I've noticed my joints have been a bit achey, especially in the morning. I imagine it could be from exercise (I do cross trainer, weights and swimming) but I've been exercising for a few months so I don't understand why its bothering me now... Also, just recently I developed "trigger finger" in my thumb. Its an inflamation of the tendon, so if I bend my thumb it gets stuck and I have to straighten it out with my other hand and it makes this big pop. Whats happening to me!?

Ouch! I don't know. Have you seen a doctor?

Hi Katiesmom,

I agree with Kristine about the thumb - see your doctor.

As for the aching joints, it's possible you are sensitive to arichodonic acid.
The Drs Eades, authors of Protein Power, explain it here.

My joint pain has improved since I added fish oil capsules to my supplements. I take 1, 3 times daily with my meals. if you do take the fish oil, make sure you get the enteric coated ones to prevent the "fishy" burps.

HTH!
