Default Bacon strips

Hi,
Somebody may have found these and mentioned it before but today I found some Bacon Strips in Marks&Spencer. You can get smoked or unsmoked. They are quite crunchy and really nice to use with a dip.....I find it frustrating that I can have the dips but I've nothing to "dip" into them !!!
0.4g Carbs per 100g, they come in 50g packets....but quite expensive at £1.99.
Still nice for a change and I need a change !!

Maybe something to rival those freakin pork rinds the americans keep telling us about....ha ha !!

All the best
Ali

Are you talking about the streaky bacon rashers that are fried really ,really crisp? Im doing Atkins with a girl at work, and she eats those all the time.. she calls them 'her crisps'.

If that is indeed what you are talking about, check out Safeway... they have the same thing, but they are only £1.09.

Yeah tell me about it.

I used to work near an M & S and found TONS of great LC products available- those bacon wrapped cheese bakes, some great chicken oven bakes made with mushrooms/garlic, they have a variety of mini-cheeses, plus some great veg and salad dressings- all pretty low carb.

Unfortunately- my student budget limits me to my local Safeway, with an occasional treat from M&S- OH MY GOD their roast chicken products are killer, BTW! For now it's back to my Super Savers product line!

Kellie
