Default What I've learned in 3 weeks of LC...

I've learned that I can lose 15 lbs. in 3 weeks
I've learned that it's pretty hard at times
I've learned I can easily get dehydrated
I've learned a helluva a lot from you guys
I've learned that it's okay to eat a moderate amount of carbs every 5 days or so and it's "going to be okay."
I've learned that it is expensive to LC
I've learned that sometimes I'd rather starve myself than prepare a LC meal
I've learned that natural food stores DO NOT carry slendaa (I thought the employees there were gonna kill me) I assumed it was organic for some reason.
I've learned I have very little stamina and endurance at the gym with free weights now.
I've learned that I need arch supports for my New Balance from running so dang much.
I've learned more about LC'ing that I ever dreamt I would care to know.
I've learned how much I enjoy the psychological challenge of LC'ing.
I've learned that I still have a lot to learn.
thx,
casey

I agree dmb4041! Congrats on doing so well!

For me in 6 weeks of low carbing I can say I've learned:

*It's not as difficult as it seems
*I don't have to starve and be deprived to loose weight
*It's really hard to get all that egg stuff off the cutlery in the dishwasher
*The support of others is soooooo important... like the people right here!

Are you saying that it has become easier for you to run but harder for you to lift weights? Granted I have only been lc-ing for a day and a half, but yesterday I found it harder to lift weights (although they're not free weights) but easier to do cardio. I'm not quite sure why!

What has everyone else's experience been like at the gym? More or less energy?

Jessica

P.S. Casey, congrats on your loss

I do resistance training with toning cords, and I've learned that even though my muscles are getting bigger and more toned...they're not very strong and get fatigued very rapidly. I don't think i've found the correct balance of supplements yet to fix this.
