Default I may be a little slow.... help please?

OK> I have been reading everyday on this board and it really helps to keep me motivated. I'm on day 11 on Atkins and after the first 3 days I have not lost any weight! 4 lbs down but I feel lighter.

I am trying to guess why I'm not losing.
#1 I don't have that much to lose so it is going to be harder??

#2 My 1 cup of coffee in the AM? I tried decaf but started mixing with regular or regular every other day.

#3 Not getting enought carbs?? On fit day I come up with 17 - 20+ day. I have had a couple of days I went 22 or 23. But when I went back this AM and subtracted the fiber my high days were really 20 grams and my low day were 12 -17! I am eating the 2 salad and 1 veggie a day and even more than lose packed cup. How can I not be getting enought carbs????

Thanks for you input!!

PS of course hubby has lost 10 lbs in the same time!!!!

It was the same for me......I didnt really see real results until I got into my 4th week. Now in my 6th week, Ive lost 13lbs. I have about 12oz coffee in the morning, mix half reg and decaf. I had put my goal weight as 140, but I am doing this so well that I think I will keep going if I get to my goal. I plan to get to my goal weight and then add carbs gradually so I can maintain this weight. But I think I will see just how much more I can lose past my goal weight first.
I keep my carbs between 15-25/day. Just depends on the day.
I think you are doing fine, just give it some more time!!!

If the adage is true that you will lose about 10% of the total weight that you have set for a goal in induction, and you are trying to lose 22 pounds, then 4 pounds is more than right. You are losing at a good pace because you do not have that much to lose. The caffiene can also hold you back. You can DO this. Just stay the course!

Do you subtract the fiber from the carb's??
