Default Slim Jims, Jerky, Nuts?

Is it OK to eat Slim Jims, Jerky and some nuts (like cashews & macadamia)? I know I can have cabbage but can I have sauerkraut?

According to atkins nuts are bad. Although I did go through a bout with some pecans cause they were low in net carbs. =X Every slim jim or beef jerky I've seen lists corn syrup as one of the main ingredients so I'd say no to those. Maybe there's a different variety that just isn't around here that people are eatin.

Nakkira can you tell me where you got that info?

On induction nuts are not recommended.
After Induction nuts are good.
Dr Atkins recommends eating nuts! Especially Macadamia nuts.
Walnuts are high in Omega 3 oils and are great for you.
Most jerky does have sugar and alot of sodium. Not good for induction.

Cashews are higher in carbs than most nuts. And sauerkraut is fine unles it has added sugar, one cup has about 2.56 carbs.

Yeah jag that's what I meant, on induction. I just kinda assumed they were talking about induction. Although like I said, I did eat nuts and I still lost so /shrug.
