Question Caffine

Ok, I used to have ATLEAST one can of non-diet soda a day and it was really hard to get out of that habit. Well, I am not out of the habit yet but I have cut myself down to ONLY one can a day and its diet, plus I have one cup of coffee in the morning. Is it true that caffine will slow down weight loss and if so does anyone know why?

Yes. In some of us caffeine causes an insulin reaction, just like eating sugar. I've tested this in myself several times by using a ketosis testing strip before and after caffeine. I can be in ketosis, consume coffee, and then test again to find that I am no longer in ketosis.

Default Hi

I find caffeine to have an addicting factor and personally I don't want to be addicted to anything. Also I would get very tired in the afternoon and if I missed my coffee (Which was one a day) I would get a headache close to a migraine. So that's why I chose to be caffiene free.

For me, it has the opposite effect. Drinking coffee or taking an ECA stack actually speeds up weight loss. I guess everyone's just different. The the keto sticks before and after like someone above posted, this should give u some insight.
