Favorite Low Carb Foods That Keep You Going
My favorites:
Hood "Carb Countdown" chocolate milk: 2 net carbs per 8oz, 12g protein, 4.5g fat, high in vitamins, no sugar alcohols, some fiber. I LOVE this stuff... it's creamy, tasty, healthy, nutritionally balanced, and it hits the spot when I'm a little bit hungry. Perfect low-carb snacking beverage.
Cottage cheese and tomatoes (or roasted veggies) with a little bit of splenda.
Hot wings, celery, and blue cheese.
Shishkabobs and stir-frys.
Arizona Diet Green Tea
Homemade green tea with splenda
Walnuts or almonds in my salad
Steak
Pepperoni and cheese (once in awhile... too greasy for every day consumption)... easy to simulate a pizza with these ingredients
Rum & diet soda
Olives!
These things all help me a lot... I don't even notice that I'm doing a different WOE the majority of the time. What are the foods that keep you from feeling like you're "on a diet"?
