Default carb content

read the labels. That is your best bet. I eat peanuts on the induction period but a limited amount. there are 5g of carbs in the roasted peanuts I buy. 2-3g of that is dietary fiber (DR. Atkins says you don't have to count this) This is in about 40 nuts. I actually counted them out once, it's a bit more than a fistfull...Try macadamia nuts, or a mixed variety too. I had them as long as I stayed within my 20g limit. I've lost 12lbs this month, so they couldn't have been that harmful. You might want to wait until after induction...it's only 2 weeks

In the latest edition of Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution, nuts are not allowed on induction although they were in the previous edition.
