Question Pepperami on induction?

Hi everyone, I'm new, and am on my 10th day of Induction. I noticed someone somewhere mentioned a Pepperami - I bought one & it has 0.4g carbs - so can I eat it then?

Hi Bristol

Yes, you can eat Pepperami, but I would not eat to many as they do contain lots of additives and I think salt. But they are useful as life savers when you are hungry and can not get another protein snack.

Smile Pepperami on induction?

Thanks Anne, I love Pepperami! Would 2/3 a day be overdoing it? Nita.

Nita

I would say that 2 to 3 every day would be overdoing it. Remember they are quite fatty too. One a day, if that is what you want is probably enough.

Can you please change your profile numbers from stone to pounds as it makes it easier for those who have no knowledge of our system to see the weight you are and better manage your progress. A stone is 14 pounds.

If you are already 8 stone then don't go overboard on calories, although for the first couple of weeks of induction this is not that important.

Default Pepperami on induction?

OOps, sorry Anne, I can never get my head around pounds instead of stones (numerical dyslexia!). I don't use scales normally, I just go by how well my clothes fit, but I guess I'll have to get some as it seems that the loss is quicker with Atkins (I've been doing the Slimming World plan on my own for about 2 years) and it would be encouraging to see the results in pounds and ounces. And so of course I don't know exactly how much I weigh right now - at 4ft 11ins every ounce shows, and after trying on some swimsuits in a shop the other day I'm thinking maybe I'm far heavier than I thought I was anyway. And as regards the Pepperami, I'll keep it to one a day, but I thought fat was OK to eat? I'm getting confused here...........
