Do I Count the Fiber Grams

I'm on Atkins induction and I need to know if I count the fiber grams as total grams. Example: 1/2 California avocado, total carbs 6.0, Fiber grams 2.35. Should I use 6 as the total or 3.65? Does this apply to all food items? Does this apply during induction? Please let me know as this really affects my totals.
