Smile Hello from FireIce

I am FireIce, a friend recommeded this website and thought I give it a try.
Been trying to do the atkins diet off and on for months. I do lose a little but gain it back
Just bought the latest book and starting again today wish me luck everyone. I am a 52 year old , been maried to hubby for 32 years in June. Have battled weight problems all my life. Have done it all as far as dieting goes, but I do like this Atkins Plan. Now to just get through that Induction part.

Hi, FireIce. We're about the same age, and it is a little tougher now -- but very doable Going off and on can slow things down, too, so if it's a bit slower at the beginning, please stick with it. This does work.

You might want to start a Journal -- it's a nice way to keep accountable, and also handy to have so you can look back on days that worked, days that didn't.

Here's hoping they'll all work for you Good luck on your new low carb journey, and please keep us up to date on your progress.

Thumbs up

You can do this!!!! This is a great place to start. Next go to the journal section under your first letter and start up a journal. It helps tremendously. I has helped me. I didnt like journals before this now I can stay away from it. Aslo remember to drink lots of water! If you have any questions there are alot of wonderful people here to help you as they have helped me.

Congragulations on this journey!

Thanks for the welcome. I might try out that journal site.
