He also coined the phrase:

Early to bed and early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise.

But forgot about the B12 to help you sleep!

My favourite Ben quote which I would like to aspire as a forum poster is:

If you would not be forgotton
As soon as you are dead and rotten
Either write things worthy reading,
Or do things worth the writing.

Rustpot, I do like the quote:"Eat to live, and not live to eat.", but from the looks of Ben's picture, he should have added to the end of it "Do as I say, and not as I do"

Ben was a portly fellow, but he sure knew how to charm the women!

Even with all that womanizing, he was wise and inventive. But really! A turkey as our National Bird? I don't think so!
