Is it bad for today? No. Is it something to do every day? No.

You want that fat to keep your body happy and to keep you full and satiated. Protein is vital to life, but unless you're lifting heavy weights it's not necessary at those levels. Your body would rather use protein to repair tissue and cells and create new ones than as fuel - fat is a better choice for this.

If you feed your body sufficient fat it won't think it's on a diet. It wont stress and it will burn fat better and more efficiently.

It is not a bad thing but make sure you are not limiting your fats. You need the fat is your new source of fuel. It can be very hard to over come the myths of low fat dieting. Just keep in mind I need fat to function. Good Luck and happing LCing smuffy

Thanks...I was just wondering. My normal daily intake is between 60-70% fat. I was logging my meals from today on fitday and noticed that the protein was a lot higher and wanted to know abouts the effects of that.
Not to worry...I haven't had dinner yest and I see a nice juicy steak drenched in butter in MY future!!!!
