Default Greek Salad?

Is it alright to eat a Greek Salad with just lettuce, gyro meat, feta cheese, and oil and vinegar dressing during the week?

And my next question:
Yesterday I went out to dinner with some of my boyz to a steak joint. I was starving so I ordered a salad, a 16 oz. steak and half a rack of ribs with BBQ sauce. Do you think I screwed up big time by having the BBQ sauce. I felt kinda guilty afterwards.

Geez, I feel like I'm in the "general low carb" forum

Greek salad should be fine - it's usually made with spinach, high in fiber, lower carbs in that case (you did know you can subtract fiber grams right?)

Oil and Vinegar is OK, so long as it's not balsamic vinegar (loaded with sugar).

The BBQ sauce wasn't the best idea in the world, but will a few tbsp of it kill you? NO. I try to get the hot & spicey sauces when I order out - usually stick to chicken wings.

In the grand scheme of things it was one meal, don't sweat it

IB - as hard as you say you are working out, there couldn't possibly be anything wrong with what you ate. It's hardly more than one of those little carbo loads you do prior to lifting.
Gyros, feta, etc. all good legal stuff!

I make a Greek salad about once or twice a week. Spinach, Greek olives, feta, and olive oil dressing. I love it!

Barbeque sauce: Walden Farms has a great BBQ sauce, but it's totally "Frankenfood." It has zero carbs, zero fat, and zero sugar. Yup. Made outta nothin' LOL. But it is THE BEST sauce I've EVER had! Lots of sodium, though, so I wouldn't get too carried away. But it SURE tastes good.
