Default Whey Protein Drinks and Myoplex Bars

Hi

Ive recently been reading X-Factor Diet and she mentions the benefits of drinking Whey Protein drinks. The book also recommends that when you buy Whey Protein it is the water-distilled kind. Does anyone know which brand to buy of Whey Protein and does anyone have any experience of the stuff they can share.

Whilst in a health food store today buying L Glutamine, I found Myoplex bars that are under 3g of carbs are have 28g of protein in them. They dont exactly taste great but they are very handy and LC for those days when you simply must be on the hoof all day and need to eat.

Anyone else tried the Myoplex bars...?

Thumbs up Whey Protein

Never tried the Myoplex bars but they sound good - and convenient even if they don't taste good.

I love Whey Protein. Great source of essential minerals and vitamins. Buy mine at Holland & Barratt in the West One Shopping Centre, Bond Street Underground. I have a local H&B but go all the way to the West End as they often have half-price sales.

Try it with double cream, strawberries - just 3-4, a tablespoon of pumpkin and sunflower seeds. yummm.

Take care.

I saw the bars you mention in Holland and Barrett today, but i was a bit confused. On the bars i was looking at they stated the carbs as a % and not in grams. Was i reading it right?

Yours sincerely
Karen
