Default my order arrived- test strip question

Okay, i sampled my SF syrups yum!

I tasted the Keto cereal (i gave in an ordered it anyway- so glad I did)

I tried my test strip and it showed no ketones present. could this be becasue I had so much water in my system? I drank about 90 ounces today before test.

is there a better time of day _ first morning pee? to test?- or am I, as I suspected not in ketosis? (never had the smell)

I always notice the smell a little. Also I really sweat alot when doing minor activities. Taking a walk with the dog in my coat (it's 43°) I come home soaked. Try checking just before breakfast in the morning. I find I burn fat while I sleep and wake up burning fat (It's a Miracle!!!!, LOL!!)

First thing in the morning is the best time to check for ketones.

I also noticed that I never test positive right after exercising - I don't have an explanation for that - however a few hours later I usually test purple...

As long as you don't test negative, its good news. And yes, water will impact how "strong" you test for ketones. So the shade of pink/purple really doesn't mean too much.
