Question Protein shakes

Hi people!!!

I have been doing a general LC plan and have lost most of my weight but I'm starting to feel like some "rewards" so I thought I'd give CAD a proper shot.

Question: I've been having protein shakes made with 100g of ricotta cheese (0.6g cabs) and 2 scoops of shake mix (1.7g carbs total) for breakfast. Would this be good for CAD? It isn't mentioned in the book, although you seem to be allowed any food with less than 4g carbs per serving....

Any insight?

I haven't tried that one. It seems to me that the total carb count would qualify it as something I would try.

I find that the best thing for me is to try new things and pay close attention to how my body reacts to it. If it isn't going to work your body will certainly tell you!

Default Hi Libby!

I know only 1 day doesn't count, but just for curiosity's sake I wanted to tell you that I came down half a kilo (I'd been stuck for 3 days) from yesyerday and I had the protein shake for breakfast yesterday ... so just maybe ....

Anyway I'll keep with it and let you know!
