Default Headaches & Gum

Hiya. I just started Induction yesterday and so far so good. I have a couple of questions though.

I've had a horrible headache for awhile now due to the weather changing. I usually take Excedrin Migraine but I know how high in caffeine it is so I've stayed away from it. Nothing else seems to work so I was curious what anyone else takes for headaches?

Also I am a huge gum addict and the gum I use is sugar-free but sweetened with aspartame. What brands of gum do you guys recommend while low-carbing?

If your headache is due to the weather changing, it is probably a sinus headache. If I feel one coming on, I take 1 Sudafed and 1 Nuprin (ibuprophen), and that usually takes care of it within 15 min. Before I found out about this combo (from a pediatrician diagnosing one of my kids), I used to try Tylenol by itself, and it was totally ineffective. For me, ibuprophen (like Nuprin, Motrin or Advil) works so much better than Tylenol (acetaminophen), but it still doesn't work unless I take a Sudafed as well. The Sudafed is for the sinus pressure -- and the sooner you take it, the better it works.

I took Excedrin Migraine this am, and its one of the few things that work for me. I dont worry about the caffeine, just getting rid of the headache. This may be a silly ? but Excedrin doesnt have any carbs does it?

read the labels on the gum--sugar-free Dentyne uses splenda. Just keep searching...

Don't forget to count the carbs in the gum, tho. Usually around 1g carbs per piece!!
