Question thirsty

I've been very thirsty today. I drank lots of water, over 110 oz. Do you think this could be a sign of a "woosh?" Or is that just wishful thinking? Thanks

Don't know if it's a sign of a whoosh or not but wouldn't that be nice? Are you eating a lot of salty higher sodium foods? That might cause it. Just keep on drinking as that water is good for you!

Well it should be interesting you mentioned this. I haven't lost anything in about 3 weeks. On saturday I experience a major thirst. I was literally drinking so much that I was going to the bathroom every 5-10 mins. That went on for 4 hrs -- horrible ..lol. Anyway, I checked the scale the next morning, Sunday. Apprently, I lost a pound. However, I rechecked this morning, Monday, and gained 3 pounds. If it were salt from me - it would have been due to my week long of salter foods for me. Interesting tho how a pound lost and 3 gained..lol

Glad you gave into your thirst and drank. That was your body talking to you and you listened.

Sometimes when you drink more than usual you do get a whoosh. Seems strange, doesn't it.

However, also check out the food you are eating, as already mentioned salty foods not only will give you a thirst, but will tend to put on pounds of water weight as well.

I'm always thirsty. 110 oz of water really isn't that much, especially on an LC diet. It could be your bodies way of telling you it needs more water. Keep upping the amount of water you drink and you may get a small woosh as water weight you've been holding on to comes off, followed by pounds of actual fat weight lost
