Hi Twiglet,

Yes, over-indulgence of carbs can do this. As a long-term low carber I now keep away from such things - to me it's just not worth going there

Yes Twiglet I had some of those cramps as well and I have only myself to blame. Most of them were from just eating to much and also over eating the sweetner Malitol. Gosh, does the latter give you wind or what! My stomach still feels distended. Must get back to regular eating.

Yep Twiglet, me too. Also suffered from disturbed sleep and a nasty cold!

I enjoyed my lower carb versions of Christmas stuff - like Christmas pudd and cake made with ground almonds, and choccies of 70% cocoa solids but, although I avoid any grains now, I still got the stomach ache! Like Demi, over the past 2 1/2 years plus of low carbing I have learned what to expect if I overdose!

However, back to normal lc eating this week, and have already lost 4 pounds in two days!

Hell, I wish I had remembered that I'd said this at the end of last week - over-indulged in some Thornton's diabetic toffee, and boy, did I pay for it big time - does serve me right though!
