Starting tomm Dec 1rst....i am on a 90 day challenge of being in the gym.......

10am
Turned on a yoga tape in my semi-dim apartment with a candle lit and with sweet flute music playing just did the 5 minute part of lying down and releasing tenstion and listening to the breath
inhaling and exhaling...........I did that twice.I will do this for 7 days.the next 7 days will be adding the rapid breathing sitting crosslegged and 7 days after that I will add the Sun salutation
I love this! E-a-s-y does it....but do it.

Today I will visit my gym tonight for 15 minutes...5 on the treadmill......5 on the bike and 2.5 on the ski-thingy and 2.5.on the stairmaster
My goal is eventually 5-6 miles EACH wthin a one hour work-out on the treadmill /bike /& ski-thingy/stairmaster....I will do this for 7 days

would love to visit gym 3x a day

once for free weights/balance and machines.....
once for a dance class
once for the aerobic machines

extra....points
Pilates......Shiatsu....Tai Chi

Oh my God.....I bailed...
started a gentle program and stalled worse than stubborn chevy in the middle of a snow
I cant' STAND TO SEE MY BODY THIS WAY
no action means....n-io-t-h-i-n-g
I need a workout buddy....

I see that you have mini goals listed as significant and I love Easy Does it...but do it. I am a big proponent of baby steps altho I get very impatient.
Sure,feel free to check in and I'm happy to visit your gym log,too!

Okay the miraclous happened. I went to workout.....committed to an hour,and while I was puffing away.....well not really but to say it gives the impression that I am working hard........NOT!
Anyway a couple of men were checking me out..I lifted my chin and pointedly looked in the opposite direction, but inside I thought R U KIDDING??????? don't you see that I have the shapley dimensions of a pineapple?

I mean in public I mange to hide the weight okay I guess,in the general public, but in the gym IT ALL HANGS OUTand it's because I don't give a #&%$ who sees me.....

(a)I go on off hours.
(b)it's like going to the doctor..I am not there to do ANYTHING else but pay attention to my health


Anyway one of the male trainers came over and asked do you need help...he looked at me with THAT light in his eye and I thought ..whaaaaaaaaaat. Aw MAN....I feel so ugly.

But,I DID need help after all and he gave me some pointers on the execise machines asked what were my goals and I said I want to lose 40 pounds


He said they can be gone by March
hey you are supposed to disagreea and say oh You don't need to lose anything

He said but you must come to the gym everyday
he touched the sides of my body lightly on both sides near the armpits... you can reduce this...tone up...increase your metabolism....before spring

I said no waaaay
He said listen let me put you down for a one hour workout session with me
I said oh I can't afford it....
He said it's free

He said I can help learn to do execises that you can do at home I said dude I am at home..really..(the gym is on the top floor of my building)...I live in the building
He said yeah but you can do these anywhere

I thought what the hay am I arguing about
he said IT'S FREE HELLLLLLLLLLLO AS IN NO MONEY
So long short....my session Is on Friday morning at 8:45am

Today I am tired from the mini workout but it's good. I want to have the kind of fatigue that come fom a physical workout

MY WORKOUT GOALS .....two dance classes a day...two workout
sessions a day at the gym.... one hour for cardio,running and one brief 30 min for weights endurance etc
And daily Yoga practice!

Okay I went to my freebie. that guy was a sadist!An ex soccer-player.
and he kept one finger tapping my leg....yuck
But anyway it was a good workout. I have to cue him Not to be tapping on me in la futura, but when I can swing the bucks I will try a package.

Friday went to a reggae class.I did not do some of the choreography PERFECTLY......but so what?
It's a freakin exercise class.
The guy,however, acted like I was a principal prima donna rehearsing for a freakin broadway show!
and royally screwin up his "work"

dude..get a life ..it's an exercise class..got it.. an exercise
class....not Shubert Alley
I will be back in spite of that nonsense...you can learn real reggae moves..from an authentic island-er
..yeh mon

TODAY I AM NOT GOING TO THE GYM TODAY.THAT'S RIGHT YOU HEARD ME.
NOT! It's saturday... raining and I feel lazy...slept till noon..yummmm

and oh..give a girl a break.. I need to chill-out

I plan to start my 90 day gym challenge Jan 1RST 2006
I will commit to doing a tape of Yoga tonight and also plan an incentive to keep me going for the 90 days
In Jan tho, watch out...the tigress come to life
