Hey all, I just bought my first vial of testing strips today... Anyways, I was wondering what are the ways of telling whether or not you are in ketosis without using testing strips. I think I read on this forum one time that you can tell by a metallic taste in your mouth... Is this true, and are there any other ways to tell... thanks all

My test strips are consistently purple, and I never notice a metallic taste.. I do drink a lot of water though..

Many people can tell by a gross metal taste in their mouth, strong smelling urine and sweet and decrease in appetite.
